La Piazza Italiana was founded in 2020 by Sofia Rossi and Marco Giuliani, two Italian expats living in London with a passion for sharing the richness and diversity of Italian culture with the world. Frustrated by the lack of access to authentic Italian products outside of Italy, they set out to create a marketplace that would connect discerning customers with talented artisans and producers from every region of Italy.
Our mission is to support small businesses and preserve traditional craftsmanship while providing our customers with high-quality, unique products that reflect the true spirit of Italy. We carefully curate our selection, working directly with artisans who are dedicated to their craft and committed to using sustainable and ethical practices.
